Meet the Principal

Dear Middle South Students, Parents and Guardians:

Thank you for stopping by the Middle School South web page. I am excited and honored to be starting my 18th year as an administrator at Hawthorn. I am very fortunate to partner with you, your students, and our exceptional staff to serve this amazing community. I am a father of three school-aged children (10th grader, 8th grader and 5th grader) and husband to a working wife.  Also, I am a New York Yankee fan -- I'm so sorry Cub and Sox fans!  

Middle School South’s goal is to work as a collaborative team consisting of students, parents/guardians and school personnel to challenge all students to reach their maximum potential. In addition, we are dedicated to creating a safe and orderly learning environment where students can excel academically, socially and emotionally.
