IPA Winners

The annual Illinois Principal Association Recognition Breakfast was held on Wednesday, April 13th at Vernon Hills High School.  Two 8th grade students, Lexi R. and Peyton N. were selected for possessing leadership traits. During the event Hawthorn Middle South’s Principal Robert Natale was recognized as Principal of the Year for the Lake Region.

Incoming 6th Grade Parent Orientation Meeting

Parents of Incoming 6th grade students for the 2016-2017 school year are invited to attend a 6th Grade Parent Orientation at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20. This is a parent only meeting. Social Entrepreneurship 3/30/16

Student Council Food Drive

Reese IMS Class-Marshmallow Catapult

IMS students were challenged to create a launcher that could catapult a Spring animal shaped marshmallow the furthest. Some students got extremely creative and did a lot of work at home, producing some innovative designs.
