Advisory Day 10.12.18

Students used this morning advisory time to brainstorm for door decorating. This year’s door decorating theme is super school! The goal is to have the doors completed by November 16th!

XC Girls State Meet

Consumer Technology

Mrs. Bourn’s seventh and eighth grade Consumer Technology students at Hawthorn Middle South successfully completed a STEM lesson that focused on yeast! Students executed their recipe by applying kitchen math and science concepts to prepare delicious pizza and pretzels!

Physical Education

PE students have been taking full advantage of this beautiful fall weather by learning archery and playing Ultimate Football while wearing their heart monitors.

Halloween 2018

Halloween activities will take place October 31st.  The fun begins in the afternoon as students and staff participate in the all-school PEP assembly.  Students are allowed to wear costumes.
