8th Grade Science-Ice Cream

Eighth-grade science experimented with liquid nitrogen by receiving a demonstration of the element’s chemical and physical properties. The students recalled concepts from the chemistry unit such as concentration, mixtures, compounds, bonding and chemical change. 8th Grade Escape Room

 On Thursday, December 21st 8th grade students used critical thinking skills to “BREAKOUT” of the classroom for Winter Break in a Great Depression-themed Escape Room from BreakoutEDU. Teams of students attempted to solve puzzles, find clues, and open the Breakout Box. It was a challenge, but a fun way to head into the holidays!
