Operation Care Package

Our generous students and teachers have collected OVER 350 high-needs items for the Midwest Veteran’s Closet during! These items will directly benefit veterans in our own community!  

MHS-8th Grade Placement Testing

We want to ensure that all students experience a positive transition to high school! As one step in providing MHS with the information needed to make well-informed placement decisions for all incoming students, all 8th grade students will take the STAR exam at Mundelein High School on Saturday November 11th.

6th Graders Donating Halloween Candy

Sixth graders at Middle South brought in extra Halloween candy to send to servicemen and women around the world.  One package is being sent to a former Hawthorn student, Corporal Alex Bolivar, currently serving in the army.
